This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Daniella, founder of Tatted Cat Custom Creations, to Sauri Classics. She is an artist specialising in vehicle customisation and paintwork, with a clear vision: to turn each car into a unique piece. Her work stands out for its focus on aesthetics, colour and finish, executed with precision, creativity and a strong sense of identity. The aim of the visit was clear: to see first hand how we approach full restorations of classic Porsche and Land Rover vehicles, and to exchange perspectives on process, technique and craftsmanship.
During her tour of our facilities, Daniella had the chance to see several of our projects at different stages, from complete disassembly to nearly finished vehicles. We walked her through every step of the process: from bodywork treatment and mechanical rebuilding to the final touches on interiors, electrics and paintwork. One of the aspects that caught her attention most was our holistic approach to each restoration. Rather than focusing on isolated elements, at Sauri Classics we work on the vehicle as a whole, ensuring that every part, from structural components to surface finishes, aligns in both function and design. We respect the original identity of each model while also applying technical upgrades where appropriate, always with purpose and precision. Daniella also shared her perspective on personalisation: each intervention should preserve the essence of the car while reflecting the owner's identity. We exchanged ideas about paint techniques, material choices and finishes, as well as the balance between restoring and reinterpreting.
The visit offered a great opportunity to connect with a fellow professional who shares our appreciation for craft, custom work and uncompromising quality. We agreed on one key point: the process is just as important as the result, and every technical decision must serve a clear purpose. Hosting professionals like Daniella brings fresh perspective and reinforces our commitment to restoration as a form of craftsmanship rooted in engineering.
Thank you for visiting, Daniella. The doors of Sauri Classics are always open to those who see the vehicle as more than just a machine, as a statement of history, design and technical excellence.
